Buying Singles

This guide will help you set up your Singles Buying Rates in just a few easy steps. You'll be able to select the sets, conditions, rarities, and variants you want to buy — all while controlling the exact rates you pay based on live TCG Player prices.

Navigate to Buying Items

From the main menu, select "Buying Items." This will direct you to the page where you can manage your buying rates.

Select Singles

Under the Buying section, choose the "Singles" option.

Selecting the Game

Select the game for which you want to create buying rates. You will see a slider of available games.

Add Sets

Click on "+Add Sets" to select which sets you want to include in your buylist.

Set Buying Percentages

Once you've selected a set, enable it and enter the buying % you'd like to offer.

Prices are based on TCGPlayer market data and refreshed daily.

For example, if you input 60%, you'll be offering to buy cards at 60% of their current market value.

Choose Conditions

Select the card conditions you're willing to buy.
You can choose Near Mint (NM) only, or include others like Lightly Played (LP), Moderately Played (MP), etc.

  • NM = Near Mint
  • LP = Lightly Played
  • MP = Moderately Played
  • HP = Heavily Played
  • DM = Damaged
Navigate to Card Condition - Singles for the description of individual conditions.

Choose Variants

Select the variants you'd like to purchase.

  • Normal
  • Holo
  • Reverse
Only want foils? No problem — just select Holofoil, and sellers will only be able to submit those to you.

Filter by Rarity

To make setup easier, we’ve included a Rarities filter.
You can select specific rarities like:

  • Rare

  • Illustration Rare

  • Hyper Rare
…and more! This helps you narrow your buying list quickly and precisely.

There will be different Rarities you can choose from depending on the set you're setting up.

Set Specific Card Settings (Optional)

Want full control? Enable "Specific Card Settings" to:
  • Toggle individual cards on/off within the set
  • Set custom % for specific cards or variants
This is perfect if you're chasing particular cards or only want to buy specific foils, for example.

Apply Settings

Once you’re happy with your setup, press "Apply" — and you’re done!
Your buylist is now ready for when you go ON the market.

Minimum Submissions

After configuring the prices, locate the minimum submission budget setting. Enter the minimum amount you are willing to accept for a submission. For example, if you set this to $50, sellers must meet or exceed this amount to create a submission.

Company Budget

Next, locate the company budget setting. Enter the maximum budget you want to spend for all submissions. This budget acts as a monthly limit, helping you control your spending.

Market Status

Review all your settings to ensure they are correct. Once satisfied, simply enable the Status button, changing it from "Off the market" to "On the market." This will activate your buying rates. Your active buy list is now ready, and you are prepared to receive submissions from sellers.
